This episode is about an ODST Team and a Spartan joining forces to face tremendous odds in a mission. It's a story of comradery on the battle field. So we needed a director who is gifted in the action genre but who could also bring the human drama into play. Director Kanno is someone I picked to tackle this challenge. I believe he carries a sense of humanity and warmth. He is one of Studio 4c's most promising creators, and I couldn't find a better opportunity to showcase his talent to the world than this episode.
