My friends were shocked that I was getting divorced. "You're getting divorced? That's weird. You seemed so happy at the wedding."
[laughter]

Nick Griffin:
Yeah, well, uh... the wedding's not part of the marriage. You're not into it at that point. The wedding. That's like telling a shark attack victim "Gee, you seemed okay on the beach."
[laughter]

Nick Griffin:
Yeah. It happened after that. I just, uh... never said the right thing when I was married. Ever, you know? I remember one time, my wife said to me "My grandfather used to tell my grandmother she was the most beautiful woman in the whole world every day of their marriage." Well, yeah, back then they didn't have cable. He didn't know.
[laughter]
