Beauty wondered why she wasn't shocked. After all, here she was in the office of a man, the likes of whom she never knew existed, watching him undress this unfortunate girl. Yet somehow she felt sorry for him. He seemed so sad. He must be very afraid of her to try to shock her so. She made up her mind, as she watched him, that she would try to help him during her stay. After all, he's not a bad man, she thought. Just misunderstood.
