Reba! Reba! That cat and dog are in my yard again! Where's my stick?
Reba:
It's right beside you where you always keep it, dear.
Hubert:
I know that!
[Reba exits into the house]
Hubert:
[picks up his stick and turns to Garfield and Odie]
Hubert:
[gently]
Come here kitty, come here doggy, I want to pet you.
[harshly]
Hubert:
With my stick!
[swings his stick at them repeatedly, misses and instead brings a hanging plant down on his head; Garfield and Odie give each other fives]
Reba:
[reentering the porch]
Well, just look at you, Hubert, potted again!
[laughs]
Hubert:
Dagnabbit Reba, can't you see I've been assaulted by those pesky varmits? Bring me the phone!
[to Garfield and Odie]
Hubert:
You've done it this time! I'm gonna fix your wagon once and for all!
