You know what, Joe. People have been coming to Mass here for God knows how long. They get up, they go to church, they sing, they eat the bread and then they leave. Do you know why? Because they are told to. They just go through the motions without the slightest understanding of what it is they are engaged in. Whether they are being told to eat a wafer or hack their own flesh and blood to death.
