New rule: if an airline mixes up your kid with another kid, flies them both to the wrong city, then reunites them with the wrong mothers, like JetBlue did last month, don't automatically assume it's a bad thing. The other kid may be smarter or better-looking.

In which case, don't think of it as losing a son. Think of it as a free upgrade.
