I have found this problem of a class system in Sweden to be a tough one.

I come from a middle-class family. You read, you see what's happening, and suddenly a pattern emerges. This happened to me between the ages of 15 and 20, when I observed American society.

In '47-'48. I hitchhiked. Through 34 states. Three months with no money. I've been influenced by a lot of things I've read. Fiction has enormous political importance, and political economics and visual impressions. It's a good mixture.
