It's only a fraction of them, 2/3 were destroyed when the hospital closed.

Think I get why this place is so active.

Poor record keeping, located in east LA. U know how many John Does came through here?
Dawson:
So what if there were a lot of John Does? Why's that matter?
Chase:
The John Does were just incinerated, bodies never got a proper burial.
