Professor Z is the third character in a Pixar film thought to be the film's main antagonist, which is proven wrong during the climax, where he turns out to really be the secondary antagonist, with the real main villain being Sir Miles Axlerod. The previous two characters in Pixar films to have undergone this had been Al McWhiggin in Toy Story 2 - Woody & Buzz alla riscossa (1999), with the real main villain being Stinky Pete the Prospector, and Randall Boggs in Monsters & Co. (2001), with the real main villain being Henry J. Waternoose III.
