John Lasseter gave up directing Toy Story 3 - La grande fuga (2010) for this movie, with it being his only directorial effort of a movie since he become C.E.O. of Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar in 2006. It is also Lasseter's only directorial effort after Walt Disney Pictures purchased/acquired Pixar in December 2006.
