Reagan Gomez-Preston, who only appears in one episode, was intended to be a recurring character as an on-and-off love interest for Steven Hyde. The character was written out of the series afterwards. Reagan later came out on Twitter and said that working on that show was a "nightmare" and criticized the show on its bare minimum attempts at diversity. She also said that David Trainer, the director, kept picking on her in front of everyone and that no one in the cast talked to her. She felt "alone and embarrassed".
