In "Roxanne", Sandy is the name of the character who ends up being a distracting love-interest for one of the main characters. In Pazzi a Beverly Hills (1991) (another movie scripted by Martin, collected together in the same script publication) a similar character has the same name, spelled differently - SanDeE*.
