The opening credit sequence for the first season - with the characters driving around in the Vista Cruiser singing the theme song - was filmed immediately prior to the pilot episode on April 30, 1998. This sequence was shot while the car was being towed by a camera vehicle along Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, California. The opening credits for seasons two through eight were similar in look and feel to the first season, but were filmed inside a studio in front of a green screen.
