Almost every marking or decal of german fighters in the movie is completely wrong or imaginary. One big example is the Bf 109 marked with a "1" and distinct yellow markings and a SS Death's head decal on the engine cowl. First: The SS did not have any fighters or any planes. Luftwaffe fighters never carried such emblems. Also the yellow markings are wrong, especially on the tail. Hollywood nonsense to make it look more distinct.
