C.P. è il figlio adolescente del Coniglio Pasquale. Al largo della costa del Sud America, sull'isola di Rapa Nui, affettuosamente conosciuta come Isola di Pasqua, sotto le cui enormi teste risiede la più magnifica fabbrica di caramelle trecentosessantacinque giorni all'anno il Coniglio Pasquale regna su un gruppo di coniglietti e pulcini che preparano i cesti pieni di caramelle che verranno consegnati ai bambini di tutto il mondo la mattina di Pasqua. Alla vigilia della nomina a successore di suo padre, C.P. decolla alla volta di Hollywood per realizzare il suo sogno di diventare un batterista. Una volta lì, incontra Fred, recentemente licenziato e determinato a rifarsi una vita. Dopo essere stato amorevolmente cacciato dalla casa dei genitori, s'imbatte casualmente in C.P....
