Greg è talmente innamorato di Pam che è pronto a chiedere la mano della ragazza ai genitori. Una telefonata che annuncia l’imminente matrimonio della sorella minore di Pam gli fa cambiare idea. Il viaggio a New York per il matrimonio della sorella diventa così l’occasione per presentarsi ai genitori di Pam. Al suo arrivo Greg si rende conto che dovrà faticare molto per ottenere il permesso di sposare Pam.
