Cenerentola e il principe finalmente festeggiano il loro primo anno di perfetta felicità. Chi non festeggia sono Anastasia e Genoveffa: da quando Cenerentola si è sposata, Lady Tremaine le obbliga a sbrigare tutte le pesanti faccende di casa. Cenerentola e il suo sposo hanno appuntamento con la fata Smemorina e i topolini Giac e Gasgas per celebrare il loro anniversario. Sfortunatamente per loro, Anastasia li sta spiando dai cespugli e capisce che Cenerentola, un anno prima, ha usato la magia per andare al ballo. Quando la bacchetta magica sfugge di mano alla fata Smemorina, Anastasia prontamente la ruba e corre da sua madre. Lady Tremaine e Genoveffa però non credono alle parole meravigliate di Anastasia: ma quando durante una lite Anastasia pietrifica accidentalmente la fata Smemorina, la matrigna ordisce un diabolico piano...
