Marte, 2071. Alla vigilia di Halloween, un gruppo di terroristi dirotta un camion sull'autostrada nei pressi di Alba City, facendo fuoriuscire un virus che uccide oltre 500 persone. Tale virus è stato realizzato su Marte, ed il governo ha stanziato 300 milioni di Woolongs per chiunque riesca a catturare l'uomo autore del micidiale progetto criminale, che si scoprirà poi essere Vincent Volaju, veterano del conflitto su Titano. La ciurma del Bebop decide di seguire il caso, ma il mistero dietro il virus è più complicato di quanto Spike e compagni credono, ed il pericolo che dovranno affrontare potrebbe rivelarsi davvero ingestibile.
