In un mondo post-apocalittico dove la magia s'è risvegliata, Avatar e Blackwolf sono due fratelli maghi, il primo è buono, il secondo è cattivo. Avatar governa il tranquillo regno di Montangar rispettando la natura e utilizzandone la forza, Blackwolf governa le terre oscure di Scorch appoggiandosi alla guerra e alla tecnologia. Quando Blackwolf, per aizzare il suo esercito, inizierà a mostrare filmati nazisti provenienti da un’epoca passata, toccherà ad Avatar provare a fermarlo. In aiuto del mago buono accorreranno l’elfo guerriero Weehawk, la bella principessa Elinore e il robot assassino Pace.
