Due amici più che ventenni vivono a Miami durante la guerra in Iraq. I due, sfruttando un’iniziativa poco conosciuta del governo che offre alle piccole imprese contratti di fornitura alle Forze Armate, iniziano a racimolare ingenti somme di denaro. Vivono sfrenatamente nel lusso fino a quando non stringono un accordo da 300 milioni per armare l’esercito afgano. Accordo che porterà la coppia in contatto con persone ambigue e poco raccomandabili. Tra queste, anche esponenti del Governo americano.
