Inghilterra, II guerra mondiale. I quattro fratelli Pevensie: Lucy, Edmund, Susan e Peter, entrano per caso nel mondo di Narnia, passando attraverso un armadio magico mentre stanno giocando a nascondino nella casa in campagna di un anziano professore. A Narnia i bambini scoprono una terra affascinante e pacifica, abitata da animali parlanti, nani, fauni, centauri e giganti, tuttavia, questo mondo fatato è minacciato dall'eterno inverno scatenato dalla malvagia Strega Bianca Jadis. Guidati dal nobile e mistico leone Aslan, i bambini riusciranno a sconfiggere la Strega Bianca, impegnandosi in una spettacolare battaglia che libererà per sempre Narnia dal gelido incantesimo di Jadis.
