Due uomini si contendono l'amore di Lori che vive in una fattoria dell'Oklahoma: il bel cowboy Johnny e il rozzo Jud. Per la verità, lei non è molto coerente: ama Johnny, ma flirta con l'altro per rendersi interessante. Johnny e Lori infine si sposano: durante la festa di nozze campestre, Jud tenta un'atroce vendetta, ma muore. Il tradizionale lieto fine non può dunque mancare.
