Il Wakanda, nazione dell'Africa centro-Orientale, si nasconde agli occhi del mondo. In apparenza Paese povero di risorse e speranze, nei fatti il più tecnologicamente avanzato del mondo, grazie alla presenza del vibranio, minerale alieno dalle inimmaginabili potenzialità. Quando T'challa sale sul trono, divenendo così la nuova Pantera Nera che protegge il proprio popolo, intende preservare la tradizione, ma un ritorno inatteso a Wakanda lo obbligherà a rivedere i propri piani. Dopo il discusso caso di Wonder Woman a casa DC, è la volta di Black Panther, trasposizione su grande schermo delle avventure del più famoso e iconico supereroe di pelle nera.
