Agrestic è il quartiere dove vive Nancy Botwin, una madre single che, a seguito della morte del marito, tenta di sbarcare il lunario spacciando marijuana. Si scoprirà presto che Nancy non è l'unica persona ad Agrestic ad avere degli scheletri nell'armadio, i prati verdi e le piante curate dei giardini di Agrestic non potranno celare i piccoli segreti dei suoi abitanti per sempre...
