Stargate Atlantis

Stargate Atlantis è una serie televisiva di fantascienza canadese-americana ambientata nell'universo di Stargate, spin-off della serie Stargate SG-1, a sua volta creata come seguito del film Stargate, e composta di cinque stagioni filmate tra il 2004 e il 2009 per lo più a Vancouver, in Canada. La serie segue gli eventi descritti nella settima stagione di SG-1, la scoperta della mitica città perduta di Atlantide in un remoto pianeta di un altra galassia, e descrive l'invio di un gruppo militarte di studio che si installa nella città e la utilizza come base per le sue missioni di esplorazione e di difesa da una razza aliena di conquistatori.
