Charles in Charge è una serie sitcom americana con protagonista Scott Baio nel ruolo di Charles, uno studente diciannovenne del fittizio Copeland College di New Brunswick, New Jersey, che lavorava come babysitter in cambio di vitto e alloggio. Baio ha diretto molti episodi della serie ed è stato accreditato con il suo nome completo, Scott Vincent Baio. La serie è stata trasmessa per la prima volta sulla CBS dal 3 ottobre 1984 al 3 aprile 1985, quando è stata cancellata a causa di una difficoltà negli ascolti Nielsen. Ha poi avuto una prima messa in onda di maggior successo dal 3 gennaio 1987 al 10 novembre 1990, quando sono stati trasmessi 126 episodi originali in totale.
