One Tree Hill

La storia principale in origine segue la vita di due fratellastri, Lucas e Nathan Scott, entrambi rivali all'inizio ed in seguito amici e fratelli con il proseguire dello show. Con l'aiuto di Keith Scott, zio dei due ragazzi, l'allenatore Whitey Durham arruola Lucas nella squadra liceale della città, i Ravens, di cui Nathan è il capitano condividendo infatti col fratellastro l'amore per il basket. Quando Lucas si innamora di Peyton Sawyer, fidanzata di Nathan, quest'ultimo inizia ad uscire, innamorandosene in seguito, con Haley James, la migliore amica di Lucas
