Un ragazzo di undici anni assiste al suicidio di un avvocato della mafia e poco prima che l'uomo si uccida parla con lui. L'Fbi, così come la mafia, viene a sapere del ragazzo. Un'avvocatessa difenderà il giovane dall'invadenza della polizia federale e dalla mafia, che farà di tutto per eliminare un pericoloso testimone. La spunterà la donna, che otterrà per il ragazzo e per la sua famiglia il cambio di identità e un futuro più sereno.
