L'infermiera Sam sta rincasando quando viene fermata da una gang di ragazzini incappucciati, che sfruttano la loro superiorità numerica per intimorirla e rubarle soldi, anello e cellulare. Nel mentre, però, qualcosa che assomiglia ad un meteorite piomba giù dal cielo e si schianta su un'automobile. È una piccola creatura pelosa e sibilante, che Moses, il capetto della banda, uccide senza grande difficoltà. Ma è solo l'inizio di una vera e propria invasione aliena: grossi mostri sempre più numerosi seguono Sam e i ragazzini dentro il loro caseggiato, per vendicare il loro simile. Lo stabile diventa un campo di battaglia e i giovanissimi teppisti si rivelano l'unica speranza per i suoi abitanti.
