Ottobre 1985. Un uomo precipita dall'alto di un palazzo di New York e una goccia di sangue macchia per sempre un sorriso. Edward Blake, il Comico, è morto, non è più tempo di scherzi. Rorschach era un suo collega ed ora è inquieto.
