JAG - Avvocati in divisa

JAG - Avvocati in divisa, la serie firmata da Donald P. Bellisario con protagonista un team di avvocati che lavora in un contesto professionale molto delicato. Al centro della storia il famoso Judge Advocate General, il corpo speciale che rappresenta il braccio legale delle forze armate degli Stati Uniti d’America. Aeronautica militare, Marina, Guardia costiera, Esercito, Marines possono contare infatti su una squadra di legali, uomini e donne in divisa, ufficiali prima che avvocati, pronti a difendere chi opera in nome dello stato e per conto del proprio paese. Il protagonista di JAG - Avvocati in divisa è il comandante Harmon “Harm” Rabb (David James Elliott), ufficiale della Marina con un passato difficile e un presente che vive tra conflitti e grandi passioni. Ham è diventato un esperto pilota di caccia per rendere onore al padre, pilota scomparso in Vietnam durante un pattugliamento. Tuttavia a causa di una disfunzione alla vista, scoperta in seguito ad un grave incidente da lui provocato, Ham lascia il servizio operativo, si laurea in legge ed entra nel JAG. Qui, insieme ad una squadra di stretti collaboratori ufficiali avvocati come lui, Ham potrà continuare a servire il paese, dividendosi tra indagini sul campo, consulenze e aspri confronti nelle aule della Corte Marziale, senza riuscire mai del tutto a liberarsi dalle ombre del suo passato.
