This Is Us

La serie narra le vicende personali di un gruppo di persone localizzate in diverse città degli Stati Uniti, tutte nate nello stesso giorno e le cui vite si intrecciano le une con le altre. Tra queste, Rebecca e Jack, una giovane coppia di sposi che sta per vivere un complicato parto plurigemellare; Randall, marito e genitore di due figlie che va alla ricerca del proprio padre naturale da cui era stato abbandonato; Kevin, un celebre attore che inizia a non essere pienamente soddisfatto della sua vita mondana, e la sorella Kate, che cerca invano di controllare il suo peso.

1		Stagione 1	La serie racconta di tre famiglie molto diverse tra loro: Jack e Rebecca sono innamoratissimi e lei è prossima a partorire tre gemelli, cosa che desta delle preoccupazioni e che, insieme ai problemi di alcolismo di lui, porta a una crisi di coppia. Kate e Kevin sono due gemelli diversamente in lotta con la percezione del proprio corpo: lei è obesa, lui invece è un fusto ed entrambi vengono percepiti per questo loro aspetto prima che per le proprie qualità. Randall infine è un afroamericano di successo, ma sente l’assenza di un rapporto con le sue radici perché è stato adottato e così si mette in cerca del proprio padre biologico, che ora però sta male per via di una vita di abusi da tossicodipendenza.	2016	18	D
2		Stagione 2	I nuovi episodi prendono il via durante i festeggiamenti per il 37esimo compleanno di Randall con Beth. Un grosso cambiamento è in arrivo, per tutti, mentre ci viene raccontata la storia della famiglia Pearson. Kate cerca di costruirsi una carriera come cantante, ma deve affrontare le insicurezze che emergono dal confronto con la madre. Randall propone a Beth di adottare un bambino, ma poi si rende conto di essere spaventato: teme di non essere all'altezza del compito, come lo furono invece i suoi genitori adottivi.	2017	18	D
