Stargate SG-1

Stargate SG-1 è una serie fantascientifica televisiva canadese-americana creata da Brad Wright e Jonathan Glassner, derivata dal film, del 1994, Stargate. La storia inizia un anno dopo gli eventi del film, nel quale il goverso USA scopre un antico dispositivo alieno, lo Stargate, che permette di viaggiare tra una moltitudine di pianeti collegati con analoghi portali. SG-1 è la squadra speciale delle forze d'elite dell'aviazione, composta da due dozzine di squadre analoghe, che esplorano la galassia e difendono la Terra dalle forze aliene ostili dei Goa'uld, e poi dei replicanti e degli Ori. La prima puntata fu trasmessa in USA sul canale Showtime nel 1997, l'ultimo episodio, il 214-esimo, nel 2007, alla fine della decima stagione, facendone una delle più lunghe serie televisive nord-americane.
