Sono passati alcuni anni e Predator ritorna. Questa volta la scena non è la giungla ma la Los Angeles del 1997, città che spacciatori di droga e bande di criminali hanno trasformato in un quotidiano campo di battaglia. La polizia sembra impotente, quando improvvisamente la delinquenza comincia ad essere decimata con gli stessi spaventosi metodi che conosciamo. Le autorità sanno questa volta con chi hanno a che fare, e mettono in opera dei sofisticati tentativi per catturare l'extraterrestre ed impadronirsi della sua tecnologia, ma Predator elude ogni trappola e continua le sue terribili stragi. Toccherà al poliziotto Mike Harrison (Glover) affrontare e sconfiggere l'alieno.
