Nel 31°secolo Tharok, Mano e Persuader – tre dei cinque membri dei Fatal Five – assaltano il quartier generale della Legione dei Super-Eroi per rubare una Sfera Temporale e nel tentativo di fermarli Star Boy viene catapultato insieme a loro nel passato. Al suo arrivo nel presente Star Boy – aka Thomas Kallor – viene rinchiuso ad Arkham visti anche i suoi disturbi curati nel futuro ma evidentissimi ai giorni nostri, passeranno 10 mesi prima che Superman e Mr Terrific capiranno che la Sfera contiene dei passeggeri.
