Un ex agente di polizia, ritenuto morto da tutti, in realtà è il vendicatore che tutti stanno cercando. Non che la sua attività sia del tutto sprezzata: eliminare 125 gangster in cinque anni è comunque un servizio reso alla società. Però la polizia non può fare a meno di indagare e di scoprire che il vendicatore ha cominciato la sua guerra privata il giorno in cui alcuni banditi gli uccisero moglie e figlio.
