1		Stagione 1	Una telefonata anonima riporta l'avvocato Henry Deaver nella sua città natale, Castle Rock, situata in un lembo del boscoso Maine. Allontanatosi dopo che la gente del posto aveva cominciato a sospettare del suo coinvolgimento nella morte del padre adottivo, incidente del quale non ricorda nulla, Henry inizia a indagare sul misterioso giovane detenuto che, trovato all'interno di una grande gabbia nei sotterranei del locale penitenziario di Shawshank, ha chiesto espressamente di lui.
