Il recupero di una cassetta di sicurezza presso una banca di Zurigo non fa che aggiungere confusione, visto che contiene sei passaporti diversi. Tra tutte l'identità più probabile sembrerebbe quella di Jason Bourne, americano residente a Parigi. Giocoforza recarvisi, convincendo una ragazza a dargli un passaggio in cambio di 10.000 dollari. Ma qualcuno della Cia sa benissimo chi è lo smemorato, e preferirebbe decisamente vederlo morto...
